final 3d model step by step

i started by importing a preference image in to cinema 4d.

First i got a cube and put the points in line with the sketch and then used the knife tool in loop mode to add a few subdivisions.  Next i went on to side view and selected the top to polygons and used extrude inner for the first stage of the arm next i created a 6 sided shape to put where the arm will start. next i used 2.5D snapping to put the points in the correct place and then i used the extrude tool to create the arm.
Then i used the knife tool to cut the cube in half and deleted the left side without the arm. next i deleted the mesh on the side of the top so i could use the mirror tool to copy the other half of the body with the arm so it was the same.

then to start with the leg i got a cube and made it the length of the leg and the used the knife tool in line mode and cut lines so i could line up the points with the leg.

i then used the mirror tool the same way i used it on the top.

i repeated the same technique for the shoes and head.

next i connected the body parts with the points and then i moved some polygons around add added to a hypernurb and this was the outcome.

next i added joints to the back and head. then i added te joints to the right arm with the symmetry option on so it done the same on the left arm. next i added the joints to the legs. then i positioned the arms and legs using the rotate tool so my character was in the correct pose.

when the character was in the correct pose i created new materials for the colour and imported the katana i made before and resized it and place it in his hand. Then i added some lights and a cube for a studio.
